Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with the customer. Identify, define and document customer requirements
• Cooperate with the Project Manager, Project Technical Leader, and project team in translating customer requirements into technical specifications, implementation, and testing strategies
• Support the development teams in various stages of testing
• Support the development teams by participating in the formulation of test strategies and test cases
• Support the customer test teams where appropriate during User Acceptance Tests
• Participate in meetings, and workshops with a customer
• Cooperate with a Project Manager and a Program Manager in achieving the program goals
• Prepare and provide presentations and training for the customer as required
• Identify, define, and manage Change Requests
• Share knowledge within development teams in order to improve their skills, experience and effectiveness
• Define and uphold standards for requirements gathering and documentation as per the Intec best Practices
• Provide work/effort estimates to a Project Manager for effective planning

Requirements

• Master in Computer Science and/or Telecommunication
• Technical leadership skills
• Strong business case development skills
• Business and systems analysis skills to understand and manage client expectations
• Knowledge and experience in data and process modelling techniques
• Good knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Customer service orientation
• Analytical problem solving skills
• An attitude for grasping problems and solutions in a business as well as a technical sense
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and proactive approach
• Very good technical and product knowledge of telecommunication billing technologies
• Experience with highly available, telecom grade multi-tier systems
• Experience in working in international and multi-location teams
• Good knowledge and experience with a Unix environment, SQL databases (Oracle preferable). Tuxedo experience is desirable.
• Very good verbal and written knowledge of English
• Willingness to undertake short term travel which may arise on occasion
• Willingness to work at a customer site (Poland, Warsaw) for extended period of time
